Please find some helpful information about the changes you can expect to see at our clinic during COVID-19.

Our infection control processes were developed so that when you receive care, it is both safe and comfortable for you and our staff are protected.

Our practice follows infection control guidelines made by the governing bodies. We are up-to-date on the latest guidance that has been issued and our protocols take these into account. As a result, you may notice:

  • We will communicate with you beforehand to ask some questions and update your medical history.
  • You will be greeted at the door, where your temperature will be taken and medical history confirmed.
  • We have hand sanitiser that we will ask you to use when you enter the practice.
  • You will then be escorted to the surgery.
  • Our staff will be wearing enhanced PPE to protect you and our team where social distancing cannot be maintained.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients.
  • We have installed Air exchange filtration units in the treatment rooms to increase ventilation

How you can help:

  • If you develop symptoms before your appointment, please contact us and do not attend the practice.
  • With the exception of patients with carers, please attend your appointment alone.
  • Please try to avoid bringing unnecessary items into the building e.g. bags, shopping etc.
  • Please do use the hand sanitiser supplied upon entering the premises and you will be asked to wear a face covering, which we can supply if you haven’t got one with you.
  • Please maintain social distancing of at least 2 metres from other patients and staff where possible we schedule patients in order to minimise the number of people in the building at one time..
  • Payment should be made by card or bank transfer where possible.
  • Confirm your email address and other contact details so that we can reduce the use of paper invoices and receipts.

We are confident that our team can offer you a safe and effective service. We hope the situation with Covid-19 will improve in the not too distant future, so that we can ease some of these stringent measures.
